Details:
Theme: Native Taina Indian confronted by Spaniard.
Male Requirements: Lite skin, tanned preferred but not necessary, approx 5'7" hight, long hair and beard
Female Requirements: Lightly tanned to very dark skin color, long black hair, approx. 5'5" or shorter, petite to medium build, be able to pass off as very young woman in her teens. Any ethnicity as long as you fit above description.
I prefer no tattoos. If small and can be covered, may make exception.
Date: Shoot will take place during the summer of 2011. Actual date's) will depend on availability of both models as agreed upon prior to shoot.
Time: Anytime between 7am and 11:30 am. Longer only at the models request.
Location: Mountains of Castaner, P.R. in the counties of Lares and Adjuntas, Puerto Rico
Purpose: Creation of a graphic novel (pictorial) for possible book publication. Graphic Novel is expected to contain between 400 - 700 images.
Other requirements: Male model to wear Spaniard clothing and artifacts such as helmet and sword etc. Female model will wear Native Taino jewelry, grass leggings and natural body paints
I speak english and spanish so you may contact me in whichever language you are most comfortable with. I do allow guests to the shoots. Model Release Forms are now posted on the Web Site.
Responsible and dedicated models only, please! This work is very important not just for us but for an entire Native American culture.
Compensation: As outlined on the website under the "modeling" page. Each model will also receive three copies of the book should it be published.
Models must have reliable transportation and means of communication. I will pay for gas. Food will be provided.
